What each one brings

• Grass-fed tallow — naturally rich in vitamins A, D, E and K. Its fatty-acid profile mirrors your skin's own oils, so it absorbs deeply rather than sitting on the surface.

• Cold-pressed olive oil — pressed straight from the olives, not cooked first and then pressed the way much of what's on a grocery shelf is made. It goes into the jar intact. Lasting moisture, and it keeps the cream soft enough to spread.

• Castor oil — thick and conditioning, the same oil that carries our Eye Love It cream.

• Vitamin E oil — one of the most well-researched antioxidants in skincare, and it softens the appearance of fine lines.

• Carrot seed oil — rich in beta-carotene, helps brighten the look of uneven tone.

Choosing a scent

• Rose — True rose, not candy-sweet. The one most people already know they like.

• Lavender — Soft, powdery florals. Our pick if you want a scent but your skin is sensitive.

• Grapefruit — Bright citrus with a clean finish. For anyone who doesn't love florals.

• Frankincense — Warm amber and soft spice. It smells expensive, and it's a favorite with men too.

• Unscented — No fragrance at all. For sensitive skin, sensitive noses, and anyone who already wears perfume.
